Astorolus

This painting was inspired by a song about a deity so large it could swallow the earth. i started painting this without any direction, but when this song came on it took over and this chaotic ocean scene stated to form. the colors started to change and everything fell into place. i like to think of this as the initial point of impact as the great octopus hits the earth.
